Saad Rafic Hariri
President of the Council of Ministers Saad Hariri, Head of the Future Parliamentary Bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, won the Parliamentary elections in 2005 and again on June 7, 2009.
He was sworn in as President of the Council of Ministers in November 2016, a position he previously held from November 2009 until June 2011.
In 2007, French President Jacques Chirac awarded Saad Hariri the "Légion d'honneur" (Knight of the Legion of Honor).
In 2014, Lebanese President Michel Sleiman awarded Saad Hariri the Grand Cordon of the Lebanese Order of Merit.
Saad Hariri is a graduate of Georgetown University, Washington D.C., with a Bachelor Degree in International Business (1992).
