Dr. Semaan Georges is a Professor and Chairperson of the Electrical, Computer, and Communication Engineering department at Notre Dame University – Louaize. He joined NDU in October 2001. His research interests include the design of grounding systems for high voltage power grids, smart grids, renewable energy sources, and optimal power flow.
Dr. Talal Salem is Associate Professor and chairperson of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. He joined the teaching staff of at Notre Dame University-Louaize in October 2008. His research interests include sustainable building materials, integration of renewable energy in building design, energy efficiency, and indoor environmental quality
Naji Sfeir is the owner and director of ETC. Under his leadership ETC became the leading training center driving its students to success in Lebanon and abroad.
The BIM technology which ETC introduced in Lebanon in 2007 is now a must know how for every engineer and architect. The two major projects designed using BIM were modeled by ETC, the ABC mall Verdun and the American Embassy in Awkar.
Rana Dubeissy is an associate professor at the Lebanese University, in the department of architecture. In addition to being a practicing architect, member in the Order of Engineers and Architects Syndicate in Beirut.
She received her PhD from the University of Tokyo in Japan, back then her research focused on the Skyscrapers and their Scio - Political impact in the urban setting. After that she moved to the UK on research projects funded by the EU and worked between Belfast, London, and Berlin.
Rana Dubeissy worked on various projects her main theme was Architectural Education and Social Reconciliation.
Lately she is working on strategies for conserving Built Heritage as a tool for Social Reconciliation and as a generator for local economy.
Mr. Abi Younes has over eighteen Years of professional and consulting experience developing IPP/ BOT projects in the power and energy sector. Previously served as an Energy Consultant at Ministry of Energy & Water, and as a Technical Advisor at GE Power & Water in the Middle East. Along with numerous certifications and projects to his name Mr. Abi Younes is the current head of Power and Energy Division at BUTEC, a leading EPC contractor in the MENA and GCC regions in the ﬁelds of construction, engineering, logistics and related services. Throughout these more than 50 years of excellence BUTEC has earned an impeccable track record, delivering a wide variety of complex and innovative projects while distinguishing itself for its best practices in engineering, integrity and safety.
Marc Aoun is an environmental scientist who graduated from the university of Utah and dedicates his time as General Manager of Compost Baladi SAL; a company that provides waste management solutions for residential, commercial and municipal establishments. Throughout his career in sustainable agricultural practices, Marc has gained invaluable field experiences and has worked and trained in controlled environment agriculture, recirculating watering systems and zero-waste discharge aquaculture. Also, through his time in Central America, Marc explored and accomplished a wide expertise in sustainable land, water, waste and energy management methods.

Rabih Osta holds over 20 years of experience in operations and project management within the industrial and renewable energy fields.
Since 1997 , Rabih serves as a part-time professor in the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics in NDU and Sagesse University,
Salah is the co-founder and Managing Partner of the 82.5MW Sustainable Akkar wind project and is currently renewable energy advisor to several institutions and enterprises in the Middle East.
In addition to his roles in relation to the Projects, he is the Group CEO of Limag Holding a privately owned business group with interests in construction, energy & the environment. Based in Beirut with a focus on the MENA Region, Salah has 15 years of experience in project development startups.
He earned a Bachelor degree of Commerce in International Business and a Certificate in International Trade from Concordia University in Canada. Salah is on the board of several businesses and cultural associations in Lebanon.
Gaby Milan holds a Master degree in engineering from the Lebanese University and a MBA from USJ.
He has been working in the domain of water, industrial and domestic wastewater treatment as well as swimming pools since 1992. He is the sales manager of Aquarius SAL since 2014.
He was a member of the LIBNOR technical committee for the preparation of the Lebanese Wastewater Standard and was a member of the LGBC water committee in charge of ARZ rating system preparation.
He has attended many workshops and seminars in the area of water and wastewater treatment and has delivered several presentations and published technical articles in environmental magazines as well.
Obtained his M.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering from INSTNCEA France in 2009, and his MBA degree from Sorbonne University in 2012. Adnan worked on the designs of large-scale photovoltaic systems since 2013 and served as the General Secretary of the Lebanese Solar Energy Society in 2013-2015. Currently he is consulting for large solar pumping and diesel-hybrid systems, while pursuing a PhD degree in solar energy at the American University of Beirut (AUB)
Obtained his Degree in industrial engineering and maintenance from the Lebanese University and his Engineering degree from Higher Institute of Electronics and Digital ISEN BREST.
He is currently working in the Renewable Energy Sector in the design, supplying as well as installing of Solar thermal / photovoltaic system.
